1984

Finally got round to reading 1984 by George Orwell. This is a reaction to the moment Winston becomes lost in thought whilst staring into the endless universe of the paper weight.

Butterfly Wings 2003-2007

Butterfly Wings change things so fast,

They passed me by on a summers day and i knew it couldn't last.

Back then her smile said it all, but it ended so quick,

My thoughts turn to ifs and to buts and it makes me feel sick.

But i'd take night over day to lie right beside her,

Pretend everything is okay,

and hide tears with laughter.

Butterfly Wings, they changed everything,

Butterfly Wings, such a terrible thing.
